This marathon begins at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, winds downhill to the Place de la Concorde, and continues past the Louvre, Palais Garnier, and Place de la Bastille. It loops through the lush Bois de Vincennes, tracks the river Seine offering views of the Eiffel Tower, and passes through the wooded trails of the Bois de Boulogne before the grand finish.
