A few years ago, bilateral clubfoot made it impossible for young Doc to walk. Today, after receiving life-changing surgery supported by Kids Operating Room, the seven-year-old is a proud member of the local community football team, the Superboys. Playing with his friends three times a week, Doc’s incredible journey shows how safe surgery enables children to do what they love and take an active role in their own community.
I want to be part of the solution. The impact I can make here is so much greater than if I were in a metropolitan setting. This is where I chose to be.
