CREATING A KIDS OPERATING ROOM

We transform unused or derelict spaces, usually in public hospitals. We supply each operating room with 3,300 pieces of specialist equipment. Once the room is set up, we partner with local engineers to keep everything running smoothly. Pioneering solar technology ensures the operating rooms have electricity, even during blackouts.

Making surgery possible in Ukraine

Since the invasion began, almost 900 hospitals and clinics across Ukraine have been damaged or destroyed. Resources are stretched to breaking point. We have installed six new operating rooms, giving local surgical teams the space and tools they need to save lives.

Each operating room is fitted with solar-powered systems to keep operations running through blackouts. Every detail is designed for children’s care. Surgical teams work with high-quality tools in a bright and colourful space where children feel safe. 

We can now work in a safe and comfortable environment and provide our young patients with the best possible care.

Training and scholarships

Empowering local experts

Beyond the room itself, we support the people who work there. We never send in medical professionals from richer countries. We provide training and scholarships for the next generation of surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre nurses.
